Jeff was born in NYC and grew up in New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. He got his BFA in theatre performance at Penn State and then went on to Wisconsin where he graduated with an MFA degree. It was while he was in Madison that he met Dick Chudnow, the founder of ComedySportz. Dick was in town to open a new ComedySportz location after a year of sold out shows in Milwaukee. Jeff became a founding member of CSz Madison and performed and taught workshops until his graduation from Wisconsin when he was offered a job at a the California Theatre Center in Sunnyvale. Dick wanted to expand ComedySportz to the West Coast and asked Jeff to get something going in San Jose. Jeff said he’d try and almost 24 years later he’s still trying.
